Arrived in Bungendore last week for the Country Music Muster - our first outing to this event after having experienced the both the Slim Dusty Memorial Week in Kempsey and the Pittsworth Gidgee Coal Awards - both of which we really enjoyed. Bungendore - not so much, but still a great chance to meet us with old friends we have made along the way- Great to see Ged and Trudy, and the old codger again, along with Jill and Bill, and the Snows in their lovely Bundaleer.

Saw many a storm roll in over the week and the weather very hot for down here, but that was never known to have stopped us from enjoying some good times and some great music.

Was great to see Trudy and Ged and their new CD and on the whole pretty pleased with the cover design which I had done for them - they sold heaps while they were here and hope they sell many more.  Trudy was up for Best New Talent and The Female Vocal - probably should have won both, but one out of two isn't that bad, and there is always next year - hey Trudy??  Many great things in store for Trudy and Ged.

All in all a pretty good time, but maybe one muster we may not re-visit, but plenty of others yet to discover anyway.  Just not the homely and friendly atmosphere of some of the other musters we have been too.

From here - well - we are staying on for a couple of weeks and will be seeing a few of the sights and tourist attractions of Canberra and surrounds, so hope you stay tuned over the next few days, to see what we have discovered.
